About Us The Motorways Construction Company was established in 1975. It's operations started
with the construction of urban Kenyan roads. Owing to non-favorable conditions in the
public sector, the company finally switched operations to the private sector in 1985.
The company's move to the private sector, greatly increased its technical capability with respect to specialized concrete works. In 1992 Motorways Constructions began specializing in pre-cast concrete works and is currently one of the leaders in construction and innovation of pre-cast works in Kenya. It is currently located in Nairobi, in the Industrial Area off Enterprise road (near Sameer Industrial Park).
The company's original base has been civil engineering projects. The company has vast experience in construction of roads, bridges, sewer lines, treatment works, earthworks and heavy lift jobs, reservoirs/water systems and environmentally friendly wetlands of effluent treatment systems.
The company has also undertaken petrol station construction for Caltex and Total,as well as pre-cast concrete works such as large weighbridges,retaining walls and basement walls.

The company has an in-house facility for the manufacture of all types of
moulds and general structural steel works.
The company has been selected in the past by international contractors to carry out project for them to their standards. The company has been, since inception, executing its projects to higher standards in comparison to general local standards in Kenya. Currently, the company is at an advanced stage of development of a sophisticated designed precast concrete dwelling unit.
